Frequently Asked Questions
How to know if our centre is the right fit for me.
We have free 15-minute consultations to help guide you to make the best choice. Prior to this there is an intake form that gives us a clear understanding of your needs and what treatment is best for you, once it’s a right fit.
How long do I have to wait for my first session?
An Individual, group or family counselling session can be booked within a week or two weeks of your first contact with us. Once you fill out our intake form, we will contact you for a 15 minute telephone consultation. At that time, we can offer you an appointment for the next available session convenient to you.
Are my sessions confidential and are my records kept private?
Yes. Our professional code of conduct guides how we practice. It states that whatever you share in sessions remains confidential, whether through verbal or written communication. Information is only shared without your permission except where disclosure is required by law. These cases includes when a client is a danger to himself/herself or to others and in cases of child abuse.
How long do the sessions last?
Individual and group sessions last one hour. Family sessions/parenting counselling sessions last one hour and a half. However, first sessions usually last a half hour more.
When do you see clients?
We work by appointments only. We see clients from Tuesday to Thursday with the first appointment at 6:00 pm and the last appointment at 10:00 pm. Every other Saturday is reserved for groups and workshops. (Only online sessions available at this time)
How will sessions be conducted?
Sessions will be conducted on zoom.
What's the first step to start the process?
You can call (868) 315-7570 to get a free 15-minute consultation and then we can set up an appointment. During the consultation it will be determined by the practitioner and the prospective client, if we can work together. If we agree on this, we can make an appointment for your first session.
You can also send an e-mail to support@dearwellnesscentre.com, send a text or WhatsApp message to (868) 315-7570. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
How much is the cost of the sessions?
The cost varies depending on your need.
Individual sessions are $350 per hour.
Group sessions are $450 for an hour and a half (5-8) persons are $450 for an hour and (8-12) people are $650 for an hour and a half.
Family sessions are $400 for an hour and a half.
Consultations are $100 per hour.
Workshops fee is given upon request.
We are well trained and have years of experience in our field.
What happens if I can't keep an appointment, or I have to cancel?
Reserving an appointment for you takes time. So, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for rescheduling or cancelling. The full fee will be charged for sessions missed without any notification, unless a different agreement is made or events beyond your control. If a client repeatedly misses sessions, it shows the client’s level of commitment to the change process.
How often will I have to attend sessions?
Every person is different. Based on your needs and your schedule your therapist will discuss your treatment plan with you. This will include how often you will need to attend. The best outcomes are possible when sessions are scheduled and attended weekly at the beginning of therapy. As therapy progresses, the time between sessions may then be extended, but sessions should still be scheduled on a regular basis.
What forms of payments do you accept?
We accept bank deposits and online bank transfer. You will be provided with the bank information on request, as well as an e-receipt upon payment.
Will I be able to get an evaluation or a report of my progress during my therapy?
Yes, you will, at the cost of $500. Please let us know a week in advance when you would like to receive it.
